This is a very thin decorative aquarium glass. If you plan to use it as a substrate, you will be disappointed with the quantity. If you use it for decorative purposes in addition to the substrate, I think you will be very happy with it. I think there's probably around 1-1.5 jars in a bag. I bought three bags of aquarium glass at a time online from a major pet store. The bags from the pet store were about half the price but a third the size and had individual larger pieces that arrived absolutely dirty (I could barely see the product through the dirt stuck to the bag). This jar was clean and well packaged. and the individual parts are very thin compared to other aquarium glass I have seen for sale which gives the aquarium a really nice gem like appearance. I bought this to add to Aragonese sand to add some color and contrast to my shrimp tank and it is exactly what I was looking for. To be honest I think it's great value for money, maybe not considering it's a bunch. of small glass drops but natural when compared to similar aquarium accessories on the market.
