This is the second time I buy this hair dryer. I had one for about a year or so before it started making weird noises and started dying. For a price like that, I had enough for a while, so I had no problems with repurchasing. It dries my hair quickly (for reference, I have natural hair, very curly and below my shoulders) and it's fairly quiet and light weight. My daughter and I are both straight. She has a lot more hair than me and we both have a very curly texture. We washed her hair over the weekend and I divided it into 4 sections. She went through the conditioner and dampened each section and I followed behind and used the detangler to dry her hair. It took about half the time I would normally take with a concentrator and brush or even a less powerful hair dryer with a comb. I didn't even use the hot setting, just warm.

I hate that the cord is TAAAAAAA short. I can't blow dry my hair without unplugging this thing at least 4 times. What I mean is that if you just plug in the cord on the left side and try to dry the right side of your head with a hair dryer, the cord might pull out of the socket. If it weren't such a great hair dryer I would return it, but the length of the cord might still convince me. This hair dryer was great. Dries hair quickly and is very light. My hair is very curly and this dryer does the job of drying my hair with just the right amount of heat. I have two problems. One problem is that the nozzle that lets air through is too wide. So when I dry one section, the other dry section becomes frizzy again. So I have to go back and dry it.
