Description of 🍽️ Kitchen Addiction 6 Piece Silicone Set: 2 Hot Handle Holder Sleeves, 2 Trivet/Potholder/Grippers, 2 Assist Handles (Turquoise)

Silicone. 2 premium silicone hot handle holders designed to slide easily over metal skillet handles, providing a stylish alternative to traditional mitts and potholders. Sleeves measure 5-5/8 x 2 inches, so please measure your cast iron skillet handle(s) to ensure the correct fit for your pan. Easy to clean; just drop in the dishwasher, or quickly rinse by hand. Ideal for serving sizzling fajitas, pan-seared steaks, succotash, etc. straight from the stove to the table. Warning: These handles will get too hot if left on a heated pot/pan or if they are put in the oven; use handles only for moving pots and pans; do not put on a pan while it is in the oven; do not leave on pot/pan while it is being heated.

A little thin is better in pot holders

For the most part I'm happy with it. However, I will say that they are a bit flimsy and the heat really comes through when you need to hold the pan for more than a few seconds.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Some minor things

Cast Iron's Best Friend

If you have cast iron skillets (mine are passed down through the 4th and 5th generations) they are a must have. These handles will fit almost any cast iron skillet handle or cast iron dutch oven handle. I love her!

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Whitening and cracking!

These silicone pens are white and cracked which means they are really bad quality! I never set the stove on medium heat. Also, I've used it maybe 10 times. It was 3 days past the day I could return it. I will no longer buy from this company.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Too long to wait

Matt, brick red, not like in the picture

This is not a bright red, as can be seen in the picture. It's a dull brick, brown-red. I have a bright red Le Creuset and these made it look like trash. I sent them back and saved for a genuine Le Creuset cast iron coaster which is beautiful and excellent quality. You get what you pay for.

Pros
  • , even the old man can understand
Cons
  • Slightly torn

I like the trivet

They work well in the stovetop after cooking. Can't be used that well when you take something out of the oven. I used it when I took the cast iron skillet out of the oven and they got too hot. I had to use a handle. Also, do not leave them in the pan or pot while cooking, as they will get very hot. I like triveta. This works very well. They're ok, just not the best.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Some cons

Excellent silicone pads on the handles of pots.

they really work. I am very happy with mine. The little snub noses don't match my brand of cookware, but I keep them in my litter box in case I can find something they work with. Long handles are the most commonly used here, my new gas stove gets the handles so hot I really need them to cook. I love the flat pot holders, I've used them more than I thought I would. I am very happy with it.

Pros
  • finally bought
Cons
  • too stupid

Got it for Lodge Cast Iron - totally useless

I recently purchased a 5 piece Lodge cast iron cook set and quickly found that the handles get very hot when cooking, even for short periods of time. I decided to try them - complete failure. Not only do they not go well with the pans I have, but they also do next to nothing to protect my hands when trying to grip the handles. Save your money - they are completely useless. Sign me up - still looking for something that works. It's not like this.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • It's OK
