This little shredder works great. It slices whatever you put in it, just cut the food into small pieces. Cut off a piece of raw meat and shred it very well, then you can make delicious steak patties that just melt in your mouth, or boil them and add them to Spegehett sauce. Trim off excess fat and you won't believe how much tastier it is to grind your own meat. It's great for 1 or 2 people.

Obviously there is a place where all the planets are aligned and all the little subtle markings fit together to make this gadget work. I haven't found it yet. Don't waste your money on this if you don't have an engineering degree. It's not worth my effort or time to go back so I'm stuck. What a waste of money and effort trying to get this piece of shit to work.

I had an old one that I loved but it fell off the counter and broke so I ordered this one. Honest review from a real user. Just don't bother. It's hard to get to the base. Food gets under the blade and it doesn't grind everything. Even with my old one, I sometimes had to open it up and pull out the cartridges to cut through, so it wasn't a huge problem, but the blade didn't want to stay in the base after I moved the big chunks out. Here you get what you pay for. I bought it for one purpose only - to make vegan puddings. It was very difficult to get the base to work the first time. If you have the patience, trust that this is a good little gadget after first use. First use again. You need to make sure the bottom and top line up with the trigger for it to work.
