Description of 🧢 Handcrafted Wooden Yarn Bowl: Mango Wood Knitting and Crochet Tool from Reliable Kitchen Supplier

This beautiful wooden yarn bowl has been handcrafted by Indian artisans. It has been handcrafted from Mango wood with a beautiful lacquered high gloss finish. The smooth high gloss finish ensures yarn will pull smoothly and evenly through the hole without catching. It will keep the yarn clean and tangle-free, holds them steady while you knit. The bowl features a curled slot that captures the yarn as you fed through the bowl.

Sharp edges can get caught in the yarn.

This was a birthday present for my wife. The photo shows the lacquered finish, but the shell was matte. In addition, the yarn cutouts are not sanded smooth and get caught as the yarn runs through. It would be a really nice bowl if these details were taken into account. But I will grind the roughness and give a nice look.

Pros
  • Yarn Storage
Cons
  • High Price

Quality control was zero

There are so many flaws in this bowl I don't know where to start. First, it literally stinks. It is not the same tree as in the photo. I believe something was stuck to it before wrapping. It was well wrapped in newspaper and bubble wrap, but unfortunately the newspaper stuck to the bowl. The finish is so rough it will pull out and ruin your yarn.

Pros
  • Crafts and sewing
Cons
  • Not sure

Pretty but a bit crude

I bought this for my friend's mum who knits all the time. The shell itself is fine, but I don't like that the cut spiral is rough and unfinished and no doubt even cheap acrylic yarn will snag. I plan to sand it down before I give it to her, so have sandpaper ready when you order. All in all it doesn't matter for the price. Just expected a better product.

Pros
  • Organization, storage and transportation
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
