If you're having trouble with the spatula that comes with your Kitchen Aid mixer and reaches to the bottom of the bowl, buy this spatula. It works great and mixes whatever you put in the bowl. Love it. They should sell this paddle with their mixer, not the one that currently comes with it.

This product works exactly as described. Was impressed with the metal frame and how well it fits compared to the cheaper (high quality) but more expensive plastic frames on sale. You will hear the silicone blades touching, but that's just the blades touching the bowl. No more stopping to scrape with a spatula.

The product doesn't fit which is a big disappointment as I bought two of these for our two food processors. (We have 6 liters.) It gets stuck in this position (see photo) because it cannot get around the bowl. And block the mixer. When I first used it, it messed up the motor. Turned it off immediately but now my only mixer is rattling. I won't buy anymore.

We love this bowl scraper. Prior to purchasing this unit we made the mistake of buying one directly from Kitchenaid which was not as advertised, was expensive and had to spend $26 to ship it back to Kitchenaid as Kitchenaid does not offer free shipping on returns. Don't make this costly mistake. Buy this one instead - it works like a charm!

I resisted this for a while, I kept telling my wife it wasn't needed and that it was a gimmick. Boy was I wrong; The silicone blades at the end of the blender make a huge difference, and they wipe down the sides of the bowl as they go by. Of course, due to the way the mixer rotates, this doesn't happen in one grating, but in small successive gratings each time, but it's certainly no longer necessary to use a separate spatula to mix everything from the edges. Hooray.
