Although this lathe is quite durable it is not as heat resistant as advertised. I've used this less than 10 times to fry eggs, fish or roasts and the coating around the edges has already come off. It seems to be melting. I rarely write bad reviews but I feel like the manufacturer really needs to change the description of this product because the main feature I wanted from them was heat resistance which led to durability. Unfortunately, this product doesn't seem to match it. Really disappointed.

Before you got this spatula, life was dull, grim, and generally meaningless. Package arrived early, bubble wrap was excellent. When I opened the envelope, my eyes lit up - it was definitely The One. I can say with confidence that this spatula changed my life for the better. Not only are my omelettes more refined and definitely better, but I'm generally inspired to get better. Spatula exceptionally well balanced. That was the first thought that came to me when I took the cake out of the box. It felt really good in my hand. And this is not a comment from someone just trying to sell a product, I am a real buyer and user. I'm not sure how the product became completely unusable the first day after using it exactly as intended. Manufacturers may never have tested it in large use cases. I had high hopes for this famous brand's spatula. After all, it's rated 4.5 stars and by Kitchen-Aid! Well, my excitement subsided after the first use.
