Well after breaking 3 nails and taking 15 minutes to remove the label from a colander I have to say the glue was too much for me. I'm still soaking another label to see if that helps, good thing I wasn't in a hurry to use it. The weight also makes a good and robust impression. I think it will be worth using.

This is the perfect colander for preparing "regular" sized meals for multiple people. You might need a 5 liter model if you're cooking for a large family, but this size is perfect for me. After good experience with the larger version we recently bought a 3/4 strainer. We've owned the 5 quart version for a few months and its little brother doesn't look like it. It is much easier to clean than a wire strainer but has the same drainage properties. We were looking for a colander with rubber handles and rubber feet. The selection wasn't that big.
