Great brush + tip! fits toothbrushes

I recently had a kitten and his breath always smelled like cat food. This brush has fine bristles that allow you to gently clean your pet's teeth and gums without much effort. The advice I learned from the vet is that instead of using pet toothpaste, use 25% hydrogen peroxide to 3 parts or 75% water. Stir the mixture with a brush and dip whenever you need a re-wetting! My vet says my kitten has some of the best teeth and gums around.

  • Weight

  • Lots of stuff

Perfect size for cats! (Sorry I couldn't resist.)

It really is a cat sized brush and we have two cats. While our six-year-old cats don't want to start brushing all of a sudden, it has nothing to do with the brush, but they do want to lick the pet toothpaste off the brush, and one of them lets the brush rub his front teeth. Hoping it will get easier with time, but at least getting the enzyme-type pet toothpaste in the mouth seems to improve the cat's breathing.

When you use it for the first time, you will surely do it.

Of course, when you use it for the first time, it will be difficult for you. Keep training and you'll get better. Even if you don't use cat toothpaste, your cat will reap most of the benefits. Gently stroke the outside of your cat's teeth in one direction (their tongue naturally cleans the inside of their teeth because it's rough). If my vet had given me any direction, my cat might have avoided severe pain. This brush is much softer than the CET brands. The bristles are more effective and…

The best cat toothbrush!

I would give 6 stars! The kit I got from the vet had an awful wand with a brush that wasn't shaped like a toothbrush (it was wedge-shaped). The bristles were soft but bent easily when brushed. I chose this toothbrush based on two characteristics: The shape of the brush is correct (doesn't stretch out at one end) so it's not too wide for a cat's mouth. And it's made in the USA! And the price is very reasonable. I've been using it daily for over a week now and I love it. The length and width of…

It works but decided brushing my teeth is too traumatic.

They are small and soft. Since cats aren't very good at brushing their teeth, I would prefer a toothbrush that has bristles that reach both the top and bottom teeth at the same time. I've found that the back of the toothbrush hits opposing teeth when cats try to bite it. If bristles hit teeth, cleaning would be much quicker and less traumatic. But it certainly fits in both my 17lb and 7lb cat mouths. I want them to be different colors so I can easily tell which brush belongs to which cat. I…

Cats' opinions are not taken into account.

I'll admit that I'm a very curious club of cat owners who try to brush their cats' teeth - aside from the cat's tooth bills and my vet's instructions, on a daily basis I'd happily leave this club - not for a lack of adorable toothbrush holders, cat-approved flavored toothpastes and other feline oral hygiene items, but rather for the experience of fighting not just one, but two mountain lions with your bare hands, as if I were putting a toothbrush on her mustachioed lips. However, my verdict on…
