Kittywalk Penthouse Resting Platforms Cats Review

Weak and much smaller than it appears online. Doesn't work for two "healthy" cats as they couldn't move or jump on hammocks. We'll send it back.

We had one with our first cat. Used it at home and everywhere we camped. Our cat died a few years ago and we got rid of a 15 year old kittywalk kitten. I recently got a kitten. Bought a new kittywalk. Several design improvements. Good product.

I've tried very hard to please my cats. We spend a lot of time on the terrace and thought it would be nice. I even tried to get cats to the top level. They just jumped down and had nothing to do with it. The levels aren't solid and the cats didn't feel safe laying on them.

This is our second house we have bought for our kitty. He really likes it, and the first one lasted 10 years in all seasons (and we have harsh winters!). The only reason we replaced it was because it was faded and unattractive, but for the most part the webbing was intact. Great item and very well made!

My cat loves her kittywalk penthouse. This is the second one we have. I think there could be some design tweaks that would make it a bit stronger, especially since it's not cheap. We have it on deck and don't use stakes. It's stable and she's happy in it.

It's a bit more complicated to set up than the patio cover, but I got it done in a reasonable amount of time. My cats will not use resting platforms, probably because they are fabric and don't feel safe on them. However, I just installed one of their scratching posts in the penthouse and they love it. : You have more space for outdoor recreation. If only this 100+ degree heat would end.

Bought this mainly for my smallest kitten who can't go outside. No matter what I do, she takes off her hiking jacket because she's so small I think. Anyway, I have an opening that lines up with a cat door insert (for sliding glass doors) that leads to the back deck. I love this concept. However, assembly was quite difficult as the bars are painted and get stuck. It has too many points to secure with buckle straps. And one of my cats escaped trying to get him out and back in because the little locks are difficult to pick in many places. It took me a long time to open the door enough to reach him, but he had enough room to run away before I could grab him and bring him back inside. he disappeared for 3 days. 😕 Now none of my cats will walk in it or use it…

I was looking for something for my adopted 3 year old cat to climb on and when I found Kittywalk products I thought it would be great to give him a way to get some fresh air . However, this product was far from perfect. It was easy enough to build, although not without frustration. The main problem I have is that my cat seems too big to use hammocks comfortably.
