I move my HiFi quite a bit for one reason or another and these cables make setup easier. The connectors are solid, the insulation is thick, but the cable is still flexible. I didn't cut the cable to see if it was OFC but I don't know if I can make a difference in the sound regardless of my setup. There may be a tolerance issue with the speaker connector. Are they the best product on the market for this application? Probably not, but for the money they serve my needs very well.

I never know what transparency is but these cables are pretty transparent! Cool aesthetics, but more importantly, they sound great. And they have banana plugs on one end and small 4 point pins on the other. Why is that important you ask? Well, most mid- to high-end receivers/amplifiers have banana outputs that are easily accessible. I'm an electrical engineer and I've seen a lot of cables in my life. Just looking at the cable through the sheath it didn't seem right so I cut it open and scraped off the ends of the cable I had just cut. Difficult to photograph, but each filament turned out to be silver or aluminum beneath the copper I scraped off. Look for silver on the ends of the cut strands. The third photo really shows me scraping off a group of strands. Also, it was a terrible light for copper. They just made up for it…
