Conveniently plug and play on Windows

I have a 2 and 4 relay version of this board. They work great with the included software. Works as a USB HID device, which is a big improvement over the "virtual communication ports" you're dealing with with some other manufacturers' products.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Bad experience

The link URL specified in the description could not be found!

That the URL given in the description cannot be found is very annoying! I've tried several times. I don't know if the board is useful. With EVERY electronic part, you need to have some details. Perhaps the seller is providing a valid URL.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Small change

Simple, useful and works with Linux!

I was very happy to stumble across this device. This simplifies switching and turning on devices, especially on Linux where everything can be easily done with cron. The usbrelay tool can be downloaded via apt-get or yum depending on the distribution. Then it just works. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Build quality
Cons
  • So far so good

work normally. good for power converter

works great. The current consumption is about 70 mA when one of the relays is switched on. Graphical user interface to control the operation of the board, but the user interface has a lot of room for improvement. I found a problem with my Dell computer. I think it is a USB1.1 device but Dell Optiplex 9020 does not support it. Keeps writing Unknown device. I need to connect this device through a USB2.0 hub as a workaround.

Pros
  • delivery was very fast
Cons
  • could have chosen a newer model

Problem found - voltage regulator supplies power over USB 5V. This prevents my computer from completely rebooting as it powers the entire computer. Actually I have LEDs on my PC motherboard and ONLY this USB relay board is connected. This prevents the PC from restarting. If you don't physically turn it off, you're dead in the water. @engineering I think you need a diode on the 5V side of your USB to prevent pollution from your internal 24V to 5V voltage regulator.

However, some details are not clear.

Download ZIP from the link in the description. The "unique serial number" listed in the DOC is not a typical HEX serial number. ALL mine arrived with the same serial number set to "BITFT" (meaning you CANNOT use multiple modules on the same system). Documents only show typical HEX-style serial numbers. Run the UI to get the "serial number" as it is NOT in the USB descriptor. From there you can use the EXE command line (included in the zip file) to run serial numbers if you use them in a test…

Pros
  • Practical thing
Cons
  • Some problems

Works for me - Power Converter

Not many instructions but you can find out by downloading the program from the link in their description. Works straight away, I bought a single channel and a quad, both work great. Pros: - Easy setup - No additional power supply required for one channel, you need one with 4 or more channels as more power is needed to drive the relay. Cons: - You cannot use additional same blocks. on the same system because the ID is the same. So, for example, if you want to have two channels, you cannot use…

Pros
  • Stable Test Results
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Works with Linux. I think only the 5V version can only be powered by USB

I just posted the same review for this 5V version of this product except I gave the 5V version five starts and the 24V version three starts because I think that the description of the 24V version of the product should actually be stated more clearly than the 24V version circuit board does not work without an external power supply (but the 5V version does). If I misunderstand the situation please let me know in the comments and I will be happy to update this review and adjust the star rating…

Pros
  • . Everything is OK!
