Description of 🔪 Knafs Leather Stropping Compound for Honing

USA Made: our amigos down in Southern Utah cut the leather, install the grommet, and make this tool absolutely beautiful—downright purdy if you ask us. Genuine leather: listen up. This is genuine, top-grain leather, walnut brown saddle skirting from Wickett and Craig. If that sounds like gibberish, look them ‘em. This leather is the real deal. Small size: this honing strop is 6 x 1” (152 x 25 mm) . It’s not a big one because we want it to live on your workbench or that mug full of pencils on your desk without taking up the whole space. The things that are close-by are the things that get utilized. Compound included: the Green Ultra Fine honing compound included is USA-made and non-waxy or greasy. It functions like a crayon, and doesn’t easily rub off. Ain’t nobody got time for greasy compound gunk all over the place. Sharp knives: stropping your EDC knives and fixed blade knives will keep them safer, sharper, and better ready to slicey slice their way to perfect apple-wedge glory. Chase the glory, amigos.

What It Takes to Finish a Blade

I remember a barber who used a slingshot to sharpen his razor. This little strap is just what you need to complete your knife blade. A properly sharpened knife will have a razor sharp edge. It's small enough to carry in your pocket or clip to a lanyard for easy portability. Very good product

Quality leather and composition

The size of the leather belt is optimal for pocket knives with a blade length of less than 4 inches in my opinion. Accordingly, if you have a larger pocket knife or fixed blade, I would recommend a larger belt than this. However, if you're looking for a small lanyard that doesn't take up much space in premium leather and compound, you don't get much better. To my surprise, I really like the eyelet as it allows you to easily hang the sling on the perforated board for quick and easy access when…

Straight Good

Straight Good leather strap. I bought this to pair with my Work Sharp Precision Adjust sharpener and it gives a bit more finish to the edges of my blades. Really nothing to complain about, the workmanship is good and you get what you pay for. An activated connection lock lasts forever. This is a good little kit if you want to get everything together without having to buy the line and compound separately. It worked well with my pocket knives and kitchen paring knives, but I would probably…
