The size of the leather belt is optimal for pocket knives with a blade length of less than 4 inches in my opinion. Accordingly, if you have a larger pocket knife or fixed blade, I would recommend a larger belt than this. However, if you're looking for a small lanyard that doesn't take up much space in premium leather and compound, you don't get much better. To my surprise, I really like the eyelet as it allows you to easily hang the sling on the perforated board for quick and easy access when doing housework.
