Has served 20 years and still works

We installed these runners on kitchen drawers about 20 years ago. We use them daily and they work without any problems. I recently bought another pair because we were looking to replace a drawer. They are well made, come with great detailed instructions and are very easy to install. When disassembling, simply push the black latches/levers and pull out. Simply align and insert when reinstalling. They offer little resistance initially, but once fully inserted, they slide in and out with littleโ€ฆ

Stronger than recommended

I have used these slides for many years. They are robust and easy to install (with special attention to tolerances and squareness!) and work flawlessly. My shop now has 11 drawers with 22" slides and 16 drawers with 16" slides. I also have a drawer of 24" slides on my desk that is 24" deep and 51" wide. The drawer is wider than recommended and I'm sure it's heavier than the recommended 100 pounds. If I'm not careful I assume the drawer can be stacked, but I'm always careful so I've never had aโ€ฆ

Highly rated and worth it.

I ended up putting two pairs of these on a 44" x 23" full extension drawer that I built into a tool chest I made for my power tools. More specifically, my 40 pounds. Miter saw that is uncomfortable to lift. I wanted the drawer to slide out easily so I could lift the saw straight up and place it on the stand. I bought a pair as they are rated at 100lbs but decided I should buy a second one as soon as I thought about the weight distribution and since I still had 1/2 inch of clearance I put a pair

bad directions. Difficult to install.

If you work with wood at home, do not use this. You will grind your teeth. 1. Directions are very poor. The slides are interchangeable, left/right, but there is no way to identify the front and back of the drawer. You can (and I did) install the drawer unit upside down. Then I had to delete both elements of the box and start again.2. The tolerances are very tight. A total of 1/16 inch left-right is allowed and no adjustments. So your cuts need to be very precise (+ or - 1/32 inch) or you willโ€ฆ

Various rails for pull-out rails

I need 6 pairs of rails so I ordered a 5 pack and a pack. I opened and installed the one pack slide first to make sure it was what I wanted. It installed easily and worked great, no problems. The shutter slid smoothly and was quiet. So I opened a pack of 5 and tried to install. When I opened the package I found that these slides are not exactly the same. The metal itself was a different color and the bearings were noticeably different. The slides were very very rough and made a crunching noise.

Terrible quality - don't waste your money

The quality of these drawer slides is terrible. Don't waste your time/money on this. I bought two pairs of kv 8400 28" rails. They arrived sealed in undamaged packaging. Upon checking them prior to installation, I found that each of the four rails was faulty. in several ways: 1) The black ones End stops/spacers seem to be broken so the guides keep popping out and falling out 2) The black ball bearing inserts keep falling out (possibly because of #1.3) One of the rails doesn't fully extend (orโ€ฆ

Slim, strong and wide

I installed a pair of 14" slides. I used them on a 48 inch box. I know the seller recommends a maximum drawer size of 24 inches. However, I am satisfied with the way the guides work. They're pretty smooth. There is a slight wobble which I think can happen if the box is wider than it is deep. Easily separate the drawer side from the cabinet side. I loaded them up pretty heavily, but I don't think I beat their rating. The weight can help them run more smoothly. The instructions are not worthโ€ฆ
