They won't stay together. They didn't stand up because they were too fragile, and even the slightest weight on them made them fall.

The item was quite unstable and it was very difficult to keep it upright when wearing the case. The base could have been better designed. Once the lid is in place and secured they stay in place but it took a lot of effort to get it right.

It doesn't work and it's a waste of money. It is not strong enough to support a boat's lid, if tightened it will easily break. I highly recommend you buy a good one the first time so you don't have to buy two like I did.

Poles are a bit flimsy but affordable etc. My only real complaint is their little saucer tip fits the boat cover, too smooth to always stay in place. The rubberized coating on the tip solves the problem. I solved this problem by adding a layer of rubberized material used under the floor mats. I also use it as a pad on my desk to keep items in place while I work.
