🧶 Colorful Knits with Knit Noro 1-2-3 Skeins: 30 Inspiring Designs Review

I liked the patterns but I found errors in the first one. What a disappointment for such a great beautiful book.

I haven't seen a single pattern in this book that I could knit and wear. Maybe it's just me, but they were either too weird or too ordinary.

Noro knitting books are a treasure. Among advanced users there is always a project that is suitable for beginners; often a small patch of crocheted items.

I love this book, I saw it in the library and had to buy it because I wanted to do some projects. With a bit of internet searching, you can find noro yarns to replace those you can't find. I'm packing up my projects to go on a long trip to visit my kids.

All of these thirty patterns can be knit with three balls of noro yarn or less. That's good news. The bad news is that templates aren't that great. As much as I love Noro yarns, it has been difficult in the past to find good patterns designed specifically for Noro. There are some cute patterns, but nothing caught my attention and said "knit me now". I like some hoods, hats and fingerless mittens. There are some cute scarves, especially the lace scarf. This book is full of beautiful knitting accessories, but there are no stand-out or very complex patterns. If you decide to make one of these patterns, the first thing I would suggest is to go to your local knitting store and find the colors you like for your chosen patterns. It's almost impossible to get the exact colors used in the book because by the time this book went to print most of those colors were sold out and Noro doesn't seem to be painting the same colors again.
