🧶 Knitter's Pride 516986-Basix Fixed Circular Needles 32", Size 13/9mm Review

Definitely more than I thought. Very smooth needles but the line is really stiff. It took me a while to manage not to go back into the little loop like in the packaging. To be honest the wood feels like a drumstick has been cut down haha! I love it. Very beautiful.

I started the cloak with #13 plastic circular needles. They drove me crazy hauling yarn. I bought these lighter, higher quality bamboo needles and saw a difference in how the wood glides over them. In addition, the connecting cord on these needles is much stronger than on plastic needles, which prevents the circular knitting needles from twisting too much.

Knitter's Pride is my favorite brand of knitting needles, be it "Basix" cord like this set or interchangeable. light and smooth, which allows yarns (wool, virgin, wool/cotton, etc.) to move easily while knitting. The connection is smooth and I had no yarn sticking (and I use quite a bit of yarn). The cable is strong and secure.
