Cable pulls out in just 2000 stitches

I bought these because I couldn't find other circular needles and they were readily available. I just finished the 20th row of 100 M's and as I moved the marker and said M I heard a strange squeak. The cable on the right needle has been pulled out. It has a gap of more than 1/4 inch. A small bulge at the original joint has caught on the fibers and who knows when it may break completely. What a bad buy.

Cons
  • Low repairability

A Pleasure to Knit

Knits evenly, the line between two points does not harden and cause knitting difficulties like knitting with too many circular needles. This circular needle is a pleasure to use and I would not hesitate to order more of the same needle in different sizes and lengths should the need arise.

Pros
  • Inspires Confidence
Cons
  • Incredible Piggy Bank

First Time Using Circular Needles

I've never used circular needles before, but I had a model that needed them. I chose them because I really dislike the sound of metal constantly grinding and I love wood! I made a stool for a child's room, it turned out great! I used t-shirt yarn which is very thick and heavy and I had to leave it on the needles for a long time before I was able to finish and darn it. All needles went through perfectly. They didn't break or fall apart, which I feared. I will look for other projects using theseโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Hands Free
Cons
  • Long Lead Time

I just ordered these this month to work on an acrylic faux fur hood that I needed to redo. They worked great, I think I like them better than the metal needles I have, but unfortunately one of the needles had already started losing most of its text while I was knitting this hood. For the hood I needed 4 strands of 35 yards each and I was surprised how the needles looked when I finished last night. I didn't think my needles were scratching each other, but both seem to have started losing theirโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Dope ๐Ÿ”ฅ
Cons
  • I will add later
