With a few adjustments it's perfect.

The tick on this picture is wrong. I thought I took a before photo, but turns out I didn't. The new hooks actually looked more like fishing hooks than the original Dreamz hook I bought. I had to get sandpaper to file down the almost-returned head and sharpen the hook's "tooth" that continued to catch extra strands of yarn. After a lot of filing, it is still round enough to slide cleanly through very "thin" yarn. Edit: The rating is due to the need for a change to reduce the pin head and sharp…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • A dubious purchase for the elderly

It really is Dreamz!

I bought 3 hooks size L 8mm. Oh I love HiyaHiya hooks and 9 inch circular needles (socks, sleeves, etc.) I hate sewing projects together. Pros
  • Very impressive

  • boring packaging

I really wanted to love it but so far so-so.

(K/6.5mm size) Pros: - Lightweight - Warmer - Feels like metal or plastic - Nice look - Generally comfortable to hold, albeit not "ergonomic" (but there is an emphasis on thumb) - good length - good point - not too blunt and not too blunt - glides on smoothly Cons: - sponge is sharp and wants to be hooked A LOT - splits more than other hooks - relatively shallow groove - doesn't catch yarn like some other hooks - doesn't really work with fluffier threads yet because the hook-in-line style is…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • No version
