Not perfect

I love the feel of these knitting needles. I gave it four stars for the following reasons: * Pack #6 had 4 #6 needles and 1 #5 needle. I emailed Pride Knitters. No response yet.* The connection between the point and shank of some needles is not smooth, resulting in a slight snagging of the yarn.

Pros
  • Package dimensions: 4.6mm (H) x 210.0mm (D) x 50.0mm (W)
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Worth every penny and then some.

These are great needles. I love the sharp metal tips that I am used to from all my knitting needles and I love that they are non-slip and have a good grip so I don't keep losing my needles but the yarn glides easily. Bought a size 6 to make knitting mallets for charity. Normally I would use 2 circular needles but it's a pleasure to use, I can switch to twin needles instead of circular needles. They are warm and comfortable to knit and I can knit for hours.

Pros
  • Carbon fiber is perfect for knitting because of its high tear resistance
Cons
  • Slightly creased

Smart needles, a strange feeling.

I wish the metal tips were a bit longer, but that's not entirely fair because it adds weight and one of the advantages about these DPNs is their light weight However the feeling of carbon rubbing against each other is uncomfortable and when the links rub against each other it's quite uneven.I love that someone thought outside the box to create them. They hold the stitches very well and the stitches slide easily when knitting, I think that's really cool.

Pros
  • Karbonz 6" turning needles, size 6/4mm
Cons
  • Very expensive
