Before purchasing this needle set, I already had the expensive Signature Needle Arts DPNS. This is definitely a worthy addition to SNA needles! Lightweight, pointed, and color-coded, it's everything I need from a sock needle. Revain is the cheapest needle I could find for this kit. I suspect the price reflects the fact that some of these needles can be duplicates: two of the six sets are the same color as the other two sets. I really like this DPS! Dpns are sometimes difficult to use. I have wood, plastic and metal. You are perfect. They are metal so things slide very easily but there is a coating or something to keep them from sliding and dropping your project. They are a great balance between wood and metal. I'll probably get rid of the other guys I have. That's a good length too. The joints are perfect. No rough spots. The numbers are engraved to last and not wear out.
