Feels like Kroy - Knitting and Crocheting

Trying this yarn for the first time. One skein was enough to make a good pair of socks and the thickness and feel reminded me of Paton's Kroy line. I really enjoyed knitting with him.

Beautiful colors and very soft

I ordered color 5-004 but received 5-003. Although I received the wrong color, the yarn I received is a very beautiful color. .The yarn is slightly thinner, but this is corrected by using smaller needles. The yarn itself is very soft and the colors are bright and beautiful. It definitely feels like it contains merino wool. It came in a pink pouch and was beautifully packaged. I plan to make a pair of socks with this yarn and will post a photo of them when they're done. I am happy with the yarn…

Beautiful, strong colors; Fine and yet hard-wearing

The color I ordered was not the color I received; However, since this is a free product review, I will check the color I received as that is the only difference from the product I ordered. The package arrived very well presented and the yarn was protected in a mesh bag. It is beautifully crafted and beautifully painted; The colors are bold with a gradual transition to the next coordinating colour, creating a beautiful gradient pattern. The thread of the yarn is strong, despite the pleasantly…

No care instructions!

I have never bought yarn without washing instructions. Since the fiber content is 75% merino wool and 25% nylon, I assumed it was superwash wool. Unfortunately, there are no care instructions, so I don't risk putting the finished piece in the washing machine (even on gentle mode). As already mentioned, this yarn is very thin - about as heavy as the lace. I knit a feather and fan scarf out of it. The colors are as I expected. While the description says you can use it to make socks, you should…

Desired color not received

As some other reviewers have pointed out, I did not receive the desired color. This is a very light finger yarn, slightly thicker than the lace weight. It appears to be single layer. Please note that it is wool and nylon and despite the name does not contain any cashmere fibre. The color repeats of the sections are quite long. Hand as a fine feeling of wool. She doesn't scratch. It comes in an organza bag and the tag is attached with a lightbulb safety pin to use as a stitch marker. I think…
