Great tool for stripping wires.

I'm one of those people who could never strip a wire on the first try. That's right, I'm not a professional electrician. Either not deep enough and the sheath pulled, or too deep and the wire severed. Never less than three attempts to complete an order. Saw this in Revain and realized what hay try. Doesn't work for solid wire 22 ga

I don't know if the pair is broken or what, I noticed the unit is missing a sticker with the company name but it still doesn't work. for solid wire 22 gauge. The blades cut through the insulation, then grasp the wire firmly enough to cut in, then pull the wire together with the insulation while holding the other insulation in the handles. I am a radio amateur and build computers myself, so I do a lot of cable assembly and stripping, especially small wires. Surprisingly Good Wire Stripper

I need a wire stripper so the wire runs on the end and not the side (the side is normal for most wire strippers). While this tool is plastic and may seem a bit "tacky," it did a wonderful job of stripping both solid and stranded wire from 20 gauge to 12 gauge. Not a single wire was cut or cut.
