Large Power Cable - Amplifier Installation

I like that the power cable is of excellent quality. I don't like that they cut the wire I needed and just threw it in an envelope. They could have taken a little more time to pack it properly.

Pros
  • Car Electronics
Cons
  • Crumpled

Pretty decent, could be better or worse

- Fine - no OFC sensor seems accurate - Isolation adequate but not amazing - Length as advertised It helps me now but I'm running 2 amps with Since my main power supply is shared by a capacitor, I sometimes overpower it with high volume and heavy low situations even with the cap on. but in doing so, I'm probably too picky about the gauge, and I'm definitely too picky about the cap I have. While an Ofc of the same AWG would be slightly better I need to do a 2nd supply line or 0 gauge. So in myโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Auto AV setup
Cons
  • Big and bulky

- Just OK - Not Gauge C Seems accurate - Insulation adequate but not amazing - Length as stated as my main power supply is separated by a capacitor, draw I sometimes recreate it with high volume and heavy low situations even with a cap. but in doing so, I'm probably too picky about the gauge, and I'm definitely too picky about the cap I have. While an Ofc of the same AWG would be slightly better I need to do a 2nd supply line or 0 gauge. So in my opinion this power cord is fine and good valueโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Frequency

Not for high current.

This material is advertised as 4 gauge wire but DO NOT use in high current applications. My 150 amp alternator quickly melted that wire. I replaced it with a better quality 4 gauge cable and haven't had any problems since.

Pros
  • Multiple pre-cut lengths available
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Good wire so far 25 feet 4 gauge.

Well I read the reviews that the wire wasn't 4 gauge. But I have a Rockville db14 and it comes with 4 gauge terminals. The wire is thick enough to fill the hole without wasting space. I hope this will be useful to someone, a good wire will definitely be bought again.

Pros
  • Applications include cars, trucks, solar panels and watercraft.
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

- Fine - no OFC calibration Seems accurate - Insulation adequate but not amazing - Length as advertised It works to save me, but I run it at 2 amps, since my main power supply is separated by a capacitor, I even trace it with a cap at times with lots of volume and heavy low situations. but in doing so, I'm probably too picky about the gauge, and I'm definitely too picky about the cap I have.
