Flimsy and Disappointing Snaps

These industrial snaps are far from satisfactory. I was surprised to see how flimsy they were, especially considering they are designed for heavy-duty use. The snaps feel cheap and easily breakable, which is concerning in an industrial setting. The only positive aspect is that they were easy to install. Overall, these snaps are not worth the investment for anyone in the industrial and scientific field.

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting due to its double-wall construction.
Cons
  • Possibly too heavy and difficult to install without adequate equipment and assistance.

Heavy Duty Solid Metal Hooks

I used these to secure portable dog pens when I had two escaped puppies. They are also strong enough for heavy wire doors.

Pros
  • Classic Carabiner - More Versatile with Double Ended Hooks
Cons
  • Out of Style

Good SCUBA Snap Bolt

I recently lost my trusty brass carabiner on a dive. I bought these as a replacement. It serves the job well. The only criticism is that the clasp is too tight. Hopefully it will loosen up a bit over time.

Pros
  • Designed for use with ropes, chains, harnesses, pet leashes and other home, farm and recreational items
Cons
  • Damaged
