Saved the day drilling the screw!

A bolt on the valve cover on my car engine broke. I tried drilling with a regular drill bit but to no avail. I bought another solid carbide and it broke quickly. This one has It's brittle and breaks easily and quickly, but he keeps cutting and saved the day!

Saved the day drilling out the screw!

My car had a broken bolt on the engine valve cover. I tried drilling it out with regular drill bits but to no avail. Bought another solid carbide and it broke quickly. This one did it, it's brittle and breaks easily and quickly, but it kept cutting and saved the day!

Kodak Square Nose End Mill

I Finish and drill holes in 3/8 A-2 tool steel at a 30 degree angle so I start with an interrupted cut. and end of cutting. I was lucky enough to get 90 holes from a carbide bur. Through stainless steel I was lucky enough to get 40 holes. This 3/16 cutter made 180 holes (60 through stainless steel) and still works. I don't know how long it will last, but so far it has done twice as much as any other editor. I don't buy China. I usually buy from an industrial supplier. I tried them just for a…

How difficult is the part to cut?

These bits were the best I have found so far. If I find a stronger one, I'll let you know. Don't hold your breath, I don't think I'll find it! They've all found that they end up lasting a lot longer than anything I've bought in years. I'm notoriously bad with tools, especially end mills and the like. I found them particularly hard when cutting stainless steel. That's why I bought them. You have held up well. It's always hard when they break, no matter when. Whether they lasted many hours or…
