From the engine to the filter, Kohler products are top quality. This gas filter is no different. The original filter lasted much longer than the proposed replacement. I expect this one to do the same. Of course, you have to worry about what goes into your gas tank, so keep that in mind.

I buy this filter once a year for my Kohler CV730 zero turn mowers. It is very easy to install. Clamp the fuel line coming from the tank with a vise. Remove the clamp from both sides with pliers. Install a new fuel filter, put the clamps back on the fuel filter and remove the vise from the fuel line. This is a cheap product that can extend the life of your engine if you maintain it regularly.

Before you invest in one of the so called 'tuning kits' that come with all the components, you should take a good look at your mower package. I have found that in too many cases the parts are NOT identical to the original parts in these kits. These filters are just the right size for my Husqvarna. They have a nice solid fit and the right height gives you the right filter area to keep the engine from running out of gas.

Purchased for my Master mower's annual pre-season maintenance. The product appears to be as good if not better than the Master Brander filter and about half the price.
