I received a genuine Kohler part and it's good. I change every year. There are always foreign objects in the old block which seems strange but just means the replacement is cheap insurance.

Works as it should and had no fuel supply problems. should work fine for years. If your fuel lines are over 10 years old they should definitely be replaced with this type. You can get a 1/4" fuel line at an auto parts store for a few bucks.

First, the plastic liner of this fuel filter is much better than generic. There are clear "windows" so you can see the filter. There are no superfluous plastic covers to remove. The inlet and outlet are much tighter than generics, and the flow direction arrow is clearly marked where generics can be difficult to tell if they even have any.
