🔍 Kohler 25 050 22-S1 Engine Fuel Filter 51 Micron | 1/4" Fuel Line ID Review

Seems like a lot of money for 30 cents of plastic and 10 cents of paper but it's an OEM part and I didn't need the 5 pack like everyone else was selling. Good but I wish it was cheaper.

Not much to say, I found the part I needed on the Cub Cadet website and it was available from Revain at a good price. Appropriately suitable. If it fits your engine I would definitely recommend it.

Very easy to install. All you need is a pair of needle nose pliers to move the fuel line clamps. I didn't drain the gas tank to replace the old filter and lost less than a tablespoon of gas removing and installing.

The filter I received from a supplier through Revain was not a Kohler filter but an OEM equivalent. Like I said, it fit and worked perfectly. Considering the only downside is the 2 day delivery time, you can spend a few bucks on fuel, spend time driving and get the equivalent of 2 bucks more at your local parts store. I'm happy but I don't like being fooled.

Luckily the item was fine and that's the only reason it even got 3 stars. the box was much larger than necessary and there was packing material inside. It wasn't dropped, it was postponed! Somehow the filter survived. The fault is not in the product but in the delivery. I think I hope the merchant will be more selective about which shipping company they use. Unfortunately, this sometimes casts a bad light on the distributor.
