KOHLER K 97623 SHP Choreograph Floating Polished Review

Looks great once installed but two screws broke almost immediately causing my drill to slip into the ceramic tile and now I have two scratches on the shower wall. I would not recommend using these screws. I would also consider using a slightly larger drill bit to drill the holes.

Looks very elegant and classy in the shower. The bracket is so clever! I had no problem installing it on a very expensive shower screen with rough quartz ice tile. The installed shelf leaves space from the shelf to the wall, which helps keep it clean and polished as well as the wall clean. No joint to collect moisture and mold! The slot has many uses. Today we ordered a second one for the guest bathroom.

There is nothing about this shelf that we don't like. It suits any modern, elegant decor. A great alternative to a suggestion from our contractor who wanted to fit an alcove with a hideous looking metal frame. We didn't want that, so we ordered a Kohler shelf. Unfortunately the builder didn't want to install it as the tiles could crack when drilling holes. Bought two of these for my shower enclosure and they look great. A little pricey but once you see them you will understand why. Sturdy and well built. Hole for razor/etc. that's a really nice feature. My only complaint is that the shelf brackets that slide over the wall brackets are too tight. I thought I would rip out the pieces I attached to the wall. These solid metal shelves are beautiful and heavy. I read the reviews before purchasing and installing so I looked for plastic tabs on the spikes which caused installation difficulties. When I shipped them in the box I was able to fit the small round mounting brackets into the clips on the back of the shelf with the plastic tabs intact fairly easily, so I figured the design issue should be solved. This shelf would be awesome if it worked. It is very well made and looks great. Very heavy and not cheap. The problem is that the clips on the back of the shelf have little vinyl tabs that should hold the shelf firmly in place. But they prevent the wall clips from slipping into the shelf clips. I tried my best to force her and I'm a big guy 6 inches and 290 pounds and I couldn't get her in there. I called Kohler and they had no idea why. And it was the same problem. I ended up using a…
