We use this for our Scout troop - and it has been a great addition to the troop's gear. We need to cook or boil large amounts of water for around 20 or so people during our 'car camping' outings. This is perfect. Not something for backpacking, but for trips where you need a scout trailer. Hook up a full propane tank, and it is simplicity itself. We boil large pots of water for cleaning. It is heavy and very sturdy.

I searched through many burners before settling on this one and I can honestly say I am not disappointed. The cost was a little more than the average burner, but definitely worth it. For example, with some of my past burners, when using it to deep fry, the temperature would drop after adding the food and would take forever to return to temp. I bought this to replace a Mickey Mouse turkey fryer burner. No comparison and quality and function. This burner is awesome where do you want to simmer or he quickly you won’t be disappointed.

Easily connects to standard propane tank. The top can accommodate a large stock pot and sits flat. All the metal appears to be welded very strong. No rust or imperfections.
