Excellent, well made. The combination of inches and tenths is perfect. I was surprised at how hard it was to find this obvious couple. We make a lot of outbuildings on the homestead and my wife has always had issues with fractional inches. Calling out contractions in feet and tenths is a snap, "just like money math." Solved our communication problem and actually leads to much more accurate approximations. The 1.28ft challenge against "just under 15 and 3/8" added 2 homeworkers to the saw pool.

Incredibly disappointed in this junk. I didn't expect it to last a lifetime but I definitely expected it to last 3+ uses. I've had it for a few months now but I've only used it 3 times and the 3rd time wasn't a charm it was a total wreck of this pathetic piece of junk. I want to say: BUY THIS ROULETTE! But the truth is, check the reviews first! I have bought this product 3 times, after buying it the 2nd time I found that it is easy to break and bend which makes it difficult to rewind. This has happened to me twice, but I decided to give it a third chance because I really needed a technical and inch tape measure that was over 25 feet long. I love this tape measure! The only thing I would like to improve is the clamp, but I would upgrade the clamp on any tape measure I've ever used! This is awesome because there are decimal points at the bottom which makes it a lot easier for me to make big lists of lumber of different lengths, which I do when I'm collecting lumber from old barns. Without them I have to convert all my measurements to inches and then back to feet which is just annoying! I love that this new decimal roulette saves…

UPDATE: the quality of the latter has deteriorated A LOT! I've failed two of these after 3 days of use. After the first day of moderate use, the tape didn't fully retract the last few feet. On the third day, the well erupted at the 30 foot mark. I thought it might just be a lemon, but I ordered a second cassette and the same thing happened.
