Children's Shorty Wetsuit by Konfidence Review

This wetsuit is only 8 months old. If my son wore it 20 times it would be a lot. The zipper has already burst and now the suit is unusable and I cannot return it. I had the same wetsuit for my older kids and they lasted much longer. Maybe they changed the materials because this latest wetsuit broke so quickly and a lot faster than expected based on previous purchases of the same wetsuit.

I have two of these: X-Small for my 4.5 year old (36 pounds, below average) and Small for my 6.5 year old (50 pounds and 48 inches tall). ideal for extra warmth when swimming at the gym in winter and in the creek in summer. My older child almost needs the next size up but has a long torso. I love that they fit snugly around my skinny boys. The younger one still has a bit of baggy crotch, but that doesn't bother him.

My son gets cold very easily. This is the second wetsuit we have purchased from this company. My son has outgrown his old one (which he loved and wore all the time).
