Worth every penny for car

I bought these tracks before winter when I was selling my jeep 4x4. I've used them on both my 2003 VW Passat sedan and 2008 Passat station wagon. With everyone either paying $30 to have their chains installed or laying in the snow under the cars, I got out of the car and came back in 4 minutes max and was completely dry. Overall this seems like a regular product but I'm not a fan of graphical instructions without words. If you are a specialist in assembling IKEA furniture, this might be easier. I bought these tracks for the sole reason that they are the only ones that will fit the low profile run-flat tires and rims that came with my machine. The problem is that there is no "internal" wire or cable holding the chains to the bar. So they can "self-align" but the downside is that they can also come loose very…

worked great! in snow chains

I bought these chains because I was afraid of the price and didn't know if I needed chains for my Audi allroad (tire size 225/65 R17). As it turned out on the Christmas ski trip, even with good M+S tires and quattro drive, there can be road conditions that require safety chains. 30 miles of solid ice snow, an encounter with 8 wrecked cars and a horrible accident, I was very glad I spent the money. So we found a stop halfway through the stages, put the chains on and were very happy from then on.
