Fits Subaru Outback 2015

This is for Subaru Outback. Was my previous review with 3 photos rejected? Not sure why. I will try again. I have a 2015 Subaru Outback 3.6 225/60R18 and bought a K56 to get a replacement nut on each wheel using 19mm hex nuts M12-1.25, 16mm (bought online).

I have nothing against Thule because they make good products. But for the same money as this and many other similar products, you can buy a set of real winter tires, steel rims, a light jack and a four-way key. Winter tires that can travel thousands of kilometers on the motorway even at high speeds. Winter tires that won't slip or knock you-know-what out of your fenders. I tested the K56 on my 2012 Toyota Rav4 this weekend in heavy snow. Installing the tracks took about 5 minutes for both - the easiest tracks I have ever installed. Pay attention to the Thule assembly instructions and check the outside diameter of standard nuts before purchasing.

I followed the T fitment guide for my 2006 RR Sport Supercharged with stock wheels and bought the recommended size (K56 in my case). Upon arrival, I took the time to test the chains in the driveway. I could not find the correct anchor bolt size from the 5 included in the set. Remember that the eyelet anchor is an essential component for attaching these chains to your bars. Install them before you need them! Practice in frustration, with success in a few hours.

Customize them before you need them! You can't adjust the size if you slow down in the snow! As they say, read the instructions. You have to adjust the chains to fit and this is where my problems started. The illustrations are reminiscent of Ikea, ie enough to give you an idea of what to do but not enough to be really helpful. The instructions include a table of tire sizes and the number of calibration bolts to remove. So I started removing the two calibration screws I was told too. The tools…
