Factories; purple less light

These worked (I used them for an elementary school STEAM class), although I find that some colors are more vibrant than others.

I bought these to add to my LilyPad set. They work great and are quite cheap compared to others I've looked at. My daughters and I made glowing masks out of it.

Awesome mini LEDs - be sure to grab some conductive filament.

I'm working on a few different Lilypad LED projects - a hat and a vest. They are inexpensive, bright and easy to use. Conductive yarn is best for clothing. I'm used to the more traditional old school - use thin wire, solder it to the LEDs and sew the wires in a few places to hold them in place, and pull them through the edges and along the seams. The conductive thread makes this much easier. They glow from 2.5 to 5.5 volts (5.5 is the max for Lilypad). That means you can charge them manuallyโ€ฆ

A unique twist on DIY projects.

I own several 3D printers as a hobby and one of my hobbies is designing, printing and assembling 3D printed LED lights. I've wanted to try SMD LEDs in a fixture for a long time, but can't bring myself to take apart one of the many LED strips I have lying around. These Lilypad LEDs are perfect for me in that regard. They are designed to be attached to thin surfaces that may or may not be rigid and I find them much easier to solder than standard strip LEDs. two inches long and 5/8 inch wide. Very

Ideal for textile projects

They attach but tear very easily. Nice little design with big enough pads for easy soldering. They have a built in 150 ohm resistor (R) so they can be connected directly to a voltage source. The color is nice, they are very bright.
