I was so excited to use this on my overland trip. Before use, I followed all the instructions: cool the inside first before plugging in to reduce the cooling time. Needless to say, the outside of the cooler is colder than the inside. I ended up throwing away everything that was in it. Very disappointing. The product itself is not very light even if nothing is put inside. Skip this product and invest your money in something that can actually work.

We've had this cooler for over four years now and it's so handy. My daughter is celiac and I have multiple food allergies, so being able to take a fridge with me on long trips was a lifesaver. We plug in the device the evening before departure to cool it down, fill in groceries just before departure and connect to the car. The food stays cold until we reach our destination. And if the hotel doesn't have a mini fridge, we plug it in at the hotel.

GREAT REFRIGERATOR! The husband uses it at work as a kind of "mini fridge" - he loves it. It's portable without being too bulky and is great for chilling drinks, lunches and snacks.
