This monopod is lightweight and very compact. I have a sturdy short table tripod that I attach to the base of it and I use it in and around my house instead of the two large tripods I have as the combo is much smaller to get under my feet. I recommend using it with a stable table tripod. Installation is quick and the locking mechanism of the sections seems solid. In terms of price and performance, this is excellent value for money.

Not as stable as a tripod but that's not why people buy monopods. Monopods are designed for portability and convenience. I bought this to use as a walking stick to mount and use my camera on for more stability when shooting. These needs are adequately satisfied. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because there's nothing to cover the screw attachment when not in use and while this thing seems pretty solid it's also very light and I wonder how she will hold up well. prolonged use.

Broken on first attempt to assemble this item. The mechanism that holds the first and second parts of the tripod body together relies on these very fragile curved pieces of white plastic. The photo shows that they are contained in one of the parts of the tripod and protrude over the edge. In this case both are broken so you only see small white lines where they should be attached.
