This was very well packed and protected with bags, foam and the spatula was in a case as was the scraper. The platter is so smooth, it has amazing bearings and it's also quiet (no noise at all when spinning), for the price I think it's a bargain now that I see the quality it has! Highly recommend buying this instead of the cheaper one which makes a lot of noise and doesn't run smoothly.

I have been using this turntable for about 6 months to decorate several cakes. It spins very smoothly and the base is solid and has a non-slip rubberized bottom which is very useful.
