kennel 35x22, old plastic bowl 35x22, and therefore the new bowl is too big! Nowhere did it say it would be 1/4 inch larger, but it is. It DOES NOT BURN! With a product this expensive, you'd assume they're a little smarter. This tray measures 35 x 22 1/4. That 1/4 inch makes it too big to fit in a kennel! I was looking forward to a tray that wouldn't break or anything.

We bought this tray to replace the plastic tray that came with the kennel. Our puppy chews a lot and broke the plastic tray. He fits into the size of our kennel 42 x 28 x 30. At first he was very afraid of him. The metallic clanking in the kennel was too loud. We had to put a towel underneath to muffle the noise. Now that he's used to it, it works better. Very strong heavy metal frying pan. Definitely recommend it.

As cute as they are, my puppies broke some of the plastic trays in their cage. Don't worry anymore after this amazing thing! Shame I didn't find this sooner as I've easily spent 2-3x as much replacing trays over the years. I decided to wrap the edges anyway as I wanted to make sure I didn't return home due to an accident/injury. Slightly rounded or not, it's still metal. So it might be a bit hard on the paws or anything else it scratches.

This is a good product for all the mentioned factors like strength, easy cleaning and durability. The reason I didn't give it a higher overall rating is safety concerns. The inside edges allow the dog to cut easily as the parts that fold over to get the raised sides are not flattened or folded in half to prevent contact with the inside edges. I had to tape everything around to create a safer and smoother surface so my dog could be better protected. I wish they would have done something about it

I ordered this because I have a 1 year old Cane Corso/Pit Bull puppy who struggles with anxiety if left in a cage AT ALL TIMES. And my husband and I would often replace the plastic tray in his kennel because he was so concerned and would rip it out trying to get out.
