Saved my fish. on Fish & Aquatic Pets

Saves fish. Exposed parts turn blue for a few days. amazing things. Sick leave for 5 days with this material alone, and the fungi disappeared. Protect your clothes and walls - it's quite blue but stained.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • I will add later

Used for columnaris

I'm not exactly a marine biologist, but I'm pretty sure the white stuff I saw was columnaris. This stuff came fast, I used a dropper to dose the angelfish straight into a 40 gallon tank and everything seemed to clear up.

Pros
  • High marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Safety

The water will be blue for a while, but it works!

The water was dark blue when used, after a few days we did a 1/2 water change in the pool, then again a few days later and the water is still with a blue cast. I had to change the water filters every time. The fish are still doing great!

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Communication with the seller

Nicely packaged little bottle

I always have this little bottle on hand to treat bacterial and fungal infections in my fish and it's incredibly convenient to have on hand and the company with the knowledge of the staining power by methylene blue was super nice and bottle packaged to prevent leakage during shipping!

Pros
  • Complete kit
Cons
  • Functionality

Top brand at a great price

Methylene blue has many uses in the aquarium hobby and if you're looking to buy it you probably already know it. Unfortunately, most pet stores or local fish stores don't have it on their shelves (and if they do, it costs an extra $20). I was happy with the price considering cordon is the gold standard for methylene blue.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • So far so good

Nasty Blue: Fish & Aquatic Pets

Exercise caution when using this material. Do not spill it on the carpet or get it on your clothes as it will not peel off easily and may not come off at all. Even if it gets on your fingers, you'll need rubbing alcohol or paint remover to remove it. As for the treatment of your fish, I only used it to prevent fungus on fish roe, because everyone said that this remedy is suitable for this purpose. The results weren't great for me. I still had fungus on many of my eggs. Will try again with the…

  • Hands-Free Control

Treats Yeast Infections

Not sure about 'flavor' and 'stability' but heck, 5 stars anyway. I know this stuff has saved some of our freshwater fish that already had a fin or fins in their aquatic grave. You need a 'hospital' aquarium to use methylene blue as it will kill plants and snails in the concentration needed to treat your fish. A simple 10-gallon aquarium will also do. Depending on the extent of the spread of the fungus, it usually takes one to two weeks for it to go away completely. (Make sure the fungus is…

Mushroom, I don't know what's going on. Fish need extra oxygen.

I've been using methylene blue for a long time. I use it for fungi on my fish when I notice them starting a little or when their fur is starting to get a little slimy. I usually try that before trying anything else. Or if for some reason I have a nitrate or nitrite spike I will use this a little for extra oxygen if my fish starts to get stressed or is already stressed. That has always worked very well for me. I have never seen any of the fish above it. Never shake your head like I do when I add

Pros
  • handy thing

  • infinitely slowly
