Terrible Quality, Not Worth It

Based on my observations, the Koul Tools Surseat P 51 Lapping is poorly made and cheaply constructed. The tool itself is flimsy and doesn't seem to last for more than a few uses. The one and only pro of this product is that it is relatively easy to use. However, I would not recommend purchasing this tool as it is not worth the money and will likely break after minimal use.

  • Very effective at quickly and easily repairing damaged flares on hydraulic lines.
Cons
  • Requires a certain level of skill and technique to use properly, which may be difficult for some users to master.

Special tool for this specific problem

Such a simple tool, but it solves a problem that sometimes arises. I used it on a client machine that I just couldn't seal (brake line) and it worked the first time.

Works as advertised.

I bought this to do the final lap on the -6 stainless steel lines which I did using a hydraulic flaring tool. I also used it to paint over some hard lines when replacing the brake hoses. In both cases it worked perfectly. Simple and easy to use.
