Description of πŸ“Έ Krorux 35mm F1.6 Manual Focus Lens for Fujifilm X Mount Mirrorless Cameras

Budget standard 35mm prime lens with good result, capable of shooting landcape, portrait and subect photography. Wide aperture of f1.6 can produce smooth blur effect which is better for highlighting the subject. With 12 diaphragm blades, the bokeh will be round and soft. Decent manual focus prime lens, good for beginers and manual focus fans. It's a fully manual lens, you should set your camera to enable 'release without lens' to get the lens work.

Impressive Mirrorless Lens Option

Based on my observations, this lens offered fantastic image quality with crisp detail and minimal distortion. The aperture range allowed for versatile shooting in various lighting conditions. However, the lens is a bit on the heavy side, making it less ideal for lengthy shoots. Overall, I highly recommend this lens for those seeking high performance and quality in their mirrorless camera setup.

Pros
  • High-quality images with great depth of field thanks to the wide aperture.
Cons
  • More expensive than other mirrorless camera options on the market.

It had no sharpness

This fully manual lens (no electrical contacts, so no auto exposure or autofocus) turned out to be well built and beautifully finished. It arrived very nicely packaged. All this at an amazingly low price. That's good news. The bad news was that a series of test shots produced blurry images - blurry everywhere. This was even mounted on a tripod and carefully focused. Maybe I just got a bad example; I do not know. I had to return it, and to Revane's credit it was done with grace.

Cons
  • Annoying

It might not be perfect, but it's fun. (Focus distance 0.18m)

Used on Fuji X-E1. I want to keep the lens for its low minimum focusing distance, sharpness and bokeh. Compared to other lenses, this is not a fast lens. But it costs little and is a lot of fun. After using this lens for a long time I decided this is a really good lens at a great price. I even started to like the plastic case (it weighs less). You need to add a good UV filter (I recommend GOBE filters, but black and white are fine too) and a good lens hood. The lens hood that comes with this…

  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Mostly ok, but...
