Before trying this change I went to U Tube to see if anyone had reprogrammed their key fob. It took about 10 minutes to reprogram the new key fob.

It was easy to set up my Cadillac. My only issue with the product is that it's a hassle to replace the battery. When opening to change the battery, the components fall out completely.

The first key fob would not fit my car. Revain Notification of Return and Exchange Authorization. Received a replacement within 2 days. The exchange worked great, we were able to program it into my machine without any problems. Very happy with the product and customer service.

The key fob arrived very quickly and is really the same as the original except for the Cadillac medallion. The servant key from my original key fits the new one perfectly. Programming took less than 5 minutes as I had another recognized original. Very happy to save hundreds of dollars on the OEM version.

I ordered it on February 5th and received it on February 7th, two days earlier than expected. I printed out the remote programming instructions from the seller recommended site. After 30 minutes I was able to start my SRX and use all remote functions. Needless to say I am very satisfied with the product and the seller, so happy I ordered a second one.

I probably made a mistake by disconnecting and checking the key in the driver's door before programming the remote. Doing this in this order will deprogram the original fob and it will take over an hour to fix the problem and require another trip to the dealer for both fobs to work properly. A month later and sometimes this key fob is not recognized by my 2010 Cadillac SRX. But it usually works on the second try.

Not as heavy as the original for my 2011 Cadillac SRX. As expected. I followed the youtube video step by step but as soon as the car started after programming, the anti-theft device triggered and locked the car! Had it towed to dealer - $280 later, key fob works. Hopefully there won't be any more problems. The keychain price is significantly cheaper than the retailer, but next time I know that sometimes cheap isn't always the best way.
