Practical product, nothing to complain about.

It is difficult to expect much from a hundred dollar coffee machine, but this purchase fully justifies itself. The build is pretty decent. There are small nuances: a completely illogical "coffee-cappuccinatore" switching system, for some reason the washer is also duplicated by a button that you must not forget to press (why not do everything on the washer?). It looks smaller in the photo, but it's actually quite large.

Pros
  • The main advantage is the price. It works quite quietly, usually cheap machines make noise louder. Coffee brews quite well. Includes 2 metal inserts in the horn (for 1 or 2 cups of espresso). The cappuccino is also good, no complaints.
Cons
  • For the first couple of weeks, there were puddles under the coffee machine, and not just pure water, but with an admixture of coffee (that is, the option "a tank of water is leaking" disappears). I tried for a long time to find where the leak came from, but I could not find it. The problem solved itself, no more leaks. Of the minuses of the design - a left-handed horn.

The quality is worse than I have ever seen, a complete disappointment

He was guided by the fact that the old Nespresso was from Krups and worked perfectly and for a long time. But in this one, three months later, for no apparent reason, after the first seconds of preparation, when coffee begins to flow into the cup, steam suddenly begins to flow from under the horn. I washed, wiped, cleaned the horn and the place of contact with the mounting hole - to no avail . Is it really such a simple thing - and that can not be done normally?

  • not very convenient / logical switching coffee-cappuccino and vice versa. The coffee itself turns out to be watery, it strongly depends on the degree of grinding - you need to catch the moment when grinding, and most often it is either liquid or does not cook at all. The pump is rather weak, the grinding is a little finer - and does not spill through the horn at all.)

The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.

It was taken to replace the old Krups 962 Novo 2100 Plus, in which the strainers of the horn crumbled, I had to and solder. Compared to it, the XP3208 looks more "gentle", the plastic feels thinner. But model 962 is "sharpened" for small cups, the portion of hot water is small, you pour a large mug in several stages. And here a full mug at one time is a huge plus. Definitely a good quality coffee maker.

Pros
  • Simple and convenient coffee maker. No extra features. The coffee is delicious. If you grind not "to the dust" - you get an excellent foam. A single serving of heated water is 330 ml, which is enough for a decent mug or a couple of cups. If you limit the pumping of water to 20 seconds, you get an excellent ristretto. Comes with 2 strainers for 1 and 2 cups. Which for 1 cup was not even used. The capacity for water is very decent volume, enough for 5-6 mugs.
Cons
  • A little low. Not every mug fits under the horn. I had to sort through all the mugs in the house to find the right one. The water tank looks flimsy, you have to be careful.
