Measure and order one size smaller than you think, trust me! The orthosis provides support and helps stabilize the knee. I have a 75 lb pit bull and the medium size fits perfectly. The only problem I have with this bandage is that every time the dog lies down or sits down and then gets up again, the band slips off his back. I haven't found a way to keep the strap in place more often and it gets 4 stars for that.

Pros
  • Great fit for me
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Better than more expensive models.

This works better than the $200 bracket we tried first. He's staying and my 90lb rottweiler is actually showing more confidence in his injured leg. The orthopedic brace slipped off her knee while she was sitting, so she could not get up. Luckily we got our money back. I wasn't expecting much from it, but for $35 it was worth a try. I highly recommend trying this. At least if you have a wife. A male dog may have problems with a belt that goes under the abdomen. The only thing this could improve…

At first I hated it but that was because I put it on.

My 100 lb Rottweiler Hound mix ruptured the cruciate ligament and was $3,900 to fix. I was surfing the internet to see if there was a bandage that could help her with her ailments until we could get her operated and I came across this product. Based on the reviews I was very skeptical about buying these braces as people said they were too big. Well I took all her measurements and decided to order them large based on everything. I got it in the mail and put it on right away. I hated it at first,

Good product! Worked for my pit bull with no weight!

I was skeptical about buying this knee brace but couldn't be happier! My 5 year old, 56 lb pit bull tore and re-injured his sacrum a few years ago and hasn't walked on his left leg for about 2 months. Our vet says the surgery will not help her walk at the moment and we are currently awaiting an aqua treadmill appointment. Anyway, I was looking for something to make her more comfortable while waiting for our appointment at the rehab center and came across this knee brace. On the first day of…

Just a few modifications and everything is good!

My dog needed something to steady his knee while he was recovering from a broken sacroiliac bone. If you have a squirrel hunter, you know how difficult it is to keep him in place. He's a Shepherd mix, 106 pounds, and I bought him an XL. I agree with other reviews about the strap slipping off after styling. If you do your research, you will find that there are limited ways to find an inexpensive device that will help with this condition other than spending hundreds of dollars. I made two simple…

Very pleased: gaiters and paw guards

Based on the mixed reviews I was a bit skeptical at first but seeing my energetic dog languish in his cage was unbearable. So I measured his foot, ordered the size that I thought fit best, and hoped for the best. Delivery was great. It was shipped within a few days and also delivered a few days later so it got here in less than a week of ordering. Getting dressed was difficult as my dog was so nervous and excited, but we accepted him and were able to walk him for his first walk since a cruciate

Pros
  • Easy to put on

  • Not the best

I prefer the Kruuse to the Walkabout

I have an older dog who loves long walks but his bump and sore knee (combination of arthritis and torn ligament) get in the way. However, he has a sharp mind and is an excellent problem solver. Since he likes going out, he has worked very wisely with me on my various attempts to make his life easier. A while back I bought a stroller so we (with other dogs) can go for walks and when he gets tired he can hitchhike the rest of the way. We voted on when he wanted to "take a break" and when he was…
