Only warm climate!

They're terrible for cold climates. Polyurethane bushings squeak like crazy! I took them off, smeared them with silicone, put them back on, but they still creak. I've definitely noticed that they got worse as summer rolled into fall and now they're unbearable in winter. I liked the look but my ears can't take it. Also, my Honda element doesn't fit in the sensor bracket.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Not bad

What you see is not what you get

I chose it over many others because the ABS plastic mount as shown in the picture is much better than most of the screws on the board. The position of the bracket is the same as the original, so the ABS cable will be installed correctly. I received the screw on the plate, not the bracket in the photo. I had to fabricate brackets from a 3/4" angle that bolted to the plates provided to place the ABS as intended. I had to send them back.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

2004 Honda Control Arm Element

At the same time I bought a set of Control Arms from Dorman - you could see these KSPs were of better quality as another reviewer pointed out. The welds on the fork were much better than the KSP. My Honda Element had a negative camber issue and the rear tires burned out quickly. Almost every mechanic wanted $500 or more for parts and labor - so it was a great deal. HOWEVER, make sure you have a good tool set (17mm deep and shallow socket) to remove the old fixed arms. Mine was at 200k and was…

Requires additional hardware

When I received it, I opened it to have a look. They look good together. Painted them and driven them a couple of times, I didn't care that my car wasn't a show car. As mentioned in another review, the ABS cable mount is a plate that bolts to the wishbone housing. Fastening material for this plate is included in the scope of delivery. If this is your first time replacing control arms on a CRV or Element, you will likely need a new nut. The original nut is welded on so you have to remove the…
