Description of 🛹 Upgrade Your Skate with KSS Outdoor Asphalt Formula 89A Inline Skate X8 Wheels

This listing includes 8 wheels which is enough for 2 skates. These wheels are perfect for outdoor skating. The 89a Durometer rating provides a long lasting, rock hard feel. 89A is the most popular outdoor durometer rating because they get to high speeds faster and last longer. The added longevity of a harder wheel gives you more bang for your buck. The 5-Spoke core design disperses weight evenly while reducing the total weight of the wheel. This results in a wheel that is light, fast, strong, and balanced. Rotating your wheels often can make them last even longer. These wheels utilize the standard size 608 bearing hub. Almost all standard skate bearings will fit in these wheels. There are virtually no compatibility issues with these wheels. These wheels feature a rounded profile which offers maximum contact with the skating surface. This profile gives the user and easier turn, and accelerating/decelerating takes much less effort. These wheels come in 3 different sizes; 72mm, 76mm, and 80mm. These are all the most common sizes for recreation inline skates and roller hockey skates. Make sure to measure your wheels to buy the proper configuration for you skates. This can be done easily with a measuring tape or caliper. Additionally, check your old wheels to see if a size is printed on them. This ensures you order the correct size.

I hate the rag on this wheel

I hate the rag on this wheel as I haven't used too many others to compare but as it is a tarmac formula I figured they would last a bit longer. I've used them in 3 Tarmac workouts and have already had to flip them twice and may turn them again before needing to fit new wheels. We're switching to other brands' 'asphalt formula', let's see how they hold up. Might upgrade to 4 stars if another brand doesn't match either because they ride well and are relatively cheap.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Low maintainability

GREAT QUALITY FOR THE PRICE!

I wish I had switched from 82A to 89A sooner! WOW. The main difference between them. These wheels are very durable, have great traction while providing a smooth ride. I skate 4-7 times a week for at least 1 hour a day on a paved track. I'm not a professional or aggressive skater but I've definitely ridden a lot of miles on these wheels and I'm amazed at their quality. I rotate the wheels about every two weeks if I want to, but I will do it more often when I notice more wear on some wheels. I…

Amazing for the price!

100% This item is perfect for the price. This is not a high quality roller wheel made from xyz for the best possible performance. It's a wheel that packs a punch, grips almost any surface, and has low traction for speed and agility. If you know how to spin wheels and use a heel brake instead of a T-Stop or Power Slides. These wheels should last a long time. If you use your wheels for braking and turning I would give them about a month if you are a serious skater. I weigh 230 pounds and I ride…

It's worth it. best in skates, skateboards and scooters

I usually skate about 2.5-3 hours a day, 5-6 days a week. 4-5 of these days I drive on a paved parking lot. That's 10-15 hours of tarmac riding a week plus 3 hours of polished cement a week. Needless to say, I go through the wheels pretty quickly. In fact, before I found these guys, I had to turn/rotate wheels every other day and needed new wheels every 2 weeks. In contrast, they only need to be flipped/turned once a week, while I only need to change them about once a month. If I wanted to…

Good price for an outdoor skating wheel

I bought these on November 17th for my outdoor skates (2017 Seba Igor-10 with 243mm rocker frame) where I prefer stiffer wheels and still stayed on them for 40 days. . $30 less per set than 85A RB Hydrogen, various 88A and 94A flush mount wheels and other brands of medium hardness wheels. I use 2-4 sets of outdoor wheels a year so I was looking for something cheaper with good wear and performance. Purely for performance, I prefer full size Undercover 88A models like Nick Lomax, Powerblading or…

Oh yeah ! Perfect wheels if you know what you're doing.

We've gone through 3 of these sets in total, I'll order 3 more These bikes are good! I skate every day for work and 3-4 times a week for free time, which means 30 minutes to 2 hours every day. I'm not a skinny guy either (I'm 92kg) and often carry the extra weight of water and books in my backpack so my wheels wear out pretty quickly (3 weeks for 85A Rollerblade HYDROGEN wheels that cost a whole hand), but they were enough for me. almost 2 months for each set, which is completely unprecedented…
