Lid fits Friskies jars but does not close well. The glass fits easily into the silicone-coated grooves; however, the grooves are wide, too wide for the thickness of the can, and densification does not occur. The Saran PE film provides a better seal. The lid of the can is better described as a "cap" for a can of Friskies.

I bought these on purpose as they were designed to seal small (as well as standard sized) cat food jars. They work, but because they're soft and flexible, they can fall off this little tin. When I ordered I didn't know they were soft cases. At first I didn't think I could use them. Harder plastic caps provide a tighter fit. However, they are easy to use and I haven't had any issues despite the seal being loose. In fact, I'm more likely to reach for my tall jars than my old hard plastic lids.

I tried them on every size can I could find - 3oz, 5.5oz, 15oz - cans of cat food, chili, soup etc. It was loose on each of them. Some were SUPER loose and some were just loose, but absolutely none of them were tight. I find these to be silicone lids rather than lids - you can just slide them over the jar to close it, but it doesn't seal or hold liquids when you tilt the jar.
